Facebook Timeline Cover - Nite Life

hey all! so my kick off for this month did not go as intended. I had to take a personal trip and than we all got sick. I'm just now on the tail end of a strep throat. Let's hope it's the tail end. lol

so the first thing I wanted to offer was this cover for the people who have the new Facebook timeline. It's fitted to the typical size of 900px by 300px. so just upload it as you would any cover. Hello All!

I hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas. It has been a couple weeks since I posted about retiring. I had some time to think about full retirement and I honestly can't think of anything I would rather be doing than scrapbooking. LOL I admit that my decision to retire was sudden and really without considering all that went with the decision. I felt like I hit a wall in designing. I was burnt out. I started out scrapbooking as a hobby, creating sig tags and tutorials and it was alot of fun. Somewhere along the way, it became a job. I have the luxury to design as a hobby and I don't want it to feel like work. Yknow? I really just have been putting so much pressure on myself. Since being away from the pressure of working/designing, I've had such a great time relaxing. At first, I really wasn't sure what to do with myself. LOL with Christmas coming up, it was a much welcome break. I spent the time with my family, more time with my kids in just hanging out. I think what I really needed was just a break. I had been at this for about 2 years straight and all I needed was a vacation. :)

So with the New Year (and my birthday) coming up, I think I'm going to take the entire month of January off. I have already pulled out of my stores, save Twilight Scraps and Designer Scraps. I'm on with Twilight Scraps through the end of the month. I will stay in Designer Scraps and start fresh come February.

I want to thank everyone for the messages of support, they are very much appreciated! And I will see you all in February!

for those of you who know me, know Halloween if my favorite holiday! :)

I've got a ton of things I'm working on for halloween and this is the first of many more things to come.

I call the following lil cuties, "Cute Ghouls".

I haven't decided at this point if I will make them into scripts. I'm not very good at scripts and takes up too much of my time. I dont know. maybe. hehe

so I've uploaded all of them to my stores.

right now, they (along with all my other products) are $1! the sale ends next wednesday - which brings me to this next thing. I have a bundle of the templates which will be priced at $7 with a sale price of $5.

the bundle is only available at Designer Scraps. however, if you purchase the 4 individually, they will be cheaper than the bundle BUT only until wednesday. so grab them while they're cheap! :)

Hello all! Dont you hate it when you think you have some free time but you end up being more busy than usual? LOL Last week was super swamped for me after I thought I would have free time to play. Anywho, I have contributed to a worthy cause.
So this is how it works, you make a donation to the Red Cross of $10USD or more and you will get this collab kit as a thank you gift. There are 47 designers that participated so you will be getting 47 kits!! The theme is "Seasons" so you get kits that include spring, summer, fall and winter. I did my part with winter. You can find my preview below.

We designers and project organizer do not see the money at all and we do not receive a portion of it. 100% of your donation goes to the Red Cross. Please click HERE to go to the main project blog. And click HERE to find out how to donate.
Also a heads up, I am also participating in another project that helps with the victims of the Japan Earthquake/Tsunami so be on the lookout for more info on that.
